Sundance is the main character that he portrayed, but Alan Hilsabeck is his real name, he was born in Coffeyville, Kansas. For 22 years and 10 months of his adult life he was a member of the United States Air Force. Due to some health problems he had to retire at the young age of 40. To take up his time he ran for City Council and was elected serving one term.  He then decided he had to find something he enjoyed doing with his time and he discovered an old west group Mac's Gange. That group folded a few years later. Most of the members who wanted to have fun and educate people of all ages on gun safety education and history formed a new group called The Osage Valley Vigilantes. He had a great time with that group.  Alan and his wife, Cathy and have joined the Single Action Shooting Society (SASS). and Colt Collectors Ass.. The other hobby that his wife, Cathy and Alen had was collecting Hallmark Christmas ornaments and Department 56 Dickens’ Village. Thay have decided to sell both collections, so if you are interested in either of these collections please visit our web site at www.christmasornies.com.
